Who doesn’t need a little pick me up in the morning?
Now, try having your morning caffeine in a cute mug! How could this not brighten your day?!
These mugs would make great gifts too—birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines day, Christmas gifts and much more. Pinterest has great ideas for Sharpie mugs but you can customize your mug to fit the occasion!
What you need:
- Mugs – solid color mugs preferably white or a lighter color work best. A silver or gold sharpie on a black mug would look great too! (I chose these mugs at a local thrift store for less than a $1 each.)
What you do:
- Draw on your mug. Be sure to go over your design a few times!
- Put in oven (preheat to 250 degrees) for about 30 min.
Now enjoy your mug! (Hand wash is best. The design may come off eventually in the dishwasher.)
This craft is not only inexpensive, but it is fun and oh so cute! Get to crafting!

About Spree Hilliard:
I am a Southern girl at heart. Born and raised most of my life in the sweet state of Arkansas, I like to think of myself as a modern day Southern belle. I was raised right. I was taught to love Jesus, love others and to treat others as I want to be treated. I prefer sweet tea to wine and can quote ‘Steel Magnolias’ at the drop of a hat. I take photos, edit videos, and manage a website and social media and more. When I’m not working, I have several other passions. I enjoy everything from painting, crafting, cooking, party planning, working out, spending time with friends and family, volunteering and more. Visit Spree’s blog: Southern Ambitions Designs.
