Mary, did you really know how one angel’s visit would radically change your life for ever?
Did you know that your very life would be on the line because of your decision?
Did you know that the king of your country would seek to murder your innocent newborn baby?
Did you know that you would have to live in a foreign country to keep your baby alive?
Did you know that you would have to watch your son be praised and ridiculed at the same time?
Did you know that you would have to watch your precious son die young?
Did you know that your very name would live on throughout history?
Did you know that you were chosen out of all the young women in the world to bring forth the most important message to mankind?
Did you know that your decision would effect future generations to come?
One more question…
Mary, did you really know what you were doing when you said, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.”?
I cannot imagine that Mary knew all that she was destined for, not even a little bit. But I do know that she made a decision that her faith in God would be bigger than her fears.
She wasn’t perfect. She was just a girl. But she was willing to say “Yes” to her God.
Now It’s your turn…
Do you know all that God has destined for you?
Do you know that He has chosen you out of all the women in the world to fulfill a mission that is specific to you?
Do you know that it is going to be difficult at times?
Do you know that people might ridicule you and laugh at you?
Do you know that it will be the most rewarding and fulfilling thing you’ve ever done?
Do you know that your decision will affect generations to come?
Oh, one more question.
Are you going to say “no” to God’s plan for your life because you’re too scared or you don’t think you are capable, or are you going to let your faith in God crush your fears?
I pray your answer will be…
“I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.”
